What is Supervision?
Supervision is a great way to receive support as you are an integral resource for your community. We will cover the basics of reviewing your case load, refinement of your technique, and an emphasis on self-reflection as a helping professional. With a supervisor, you have taken the first step in becoming licensed and a head start in a flourishing business.
Individual & Group Supervision
Supervision can be beneficial when we are open to multiple voices and perspectives to learn from that apply to our clients and role as a helping professional. The difference between group and individual supervision is a matter of breadth and depth. Obviously group is fantastic for a breadth of perspectives as well as being financially more friendly. Individual supervision allows us to go deeper into our case load and focus on refining our therapeutic approach that is unique to us. As the path towards licensure is, most all of us use a combination of both types and benefit from each as well.
