What you can expect from our online sessions together:
Although clients can experience a variety of outcomes, counseling can help them achieve greater mental health. How does this work?
First off, you are beginning the process by seeking out help. To do that, you, like many clients, have the humility to take this first step. And while we first meet, it's a good time to decide whether you are comfortable with our dynamic.
Please let me know if it's working or not! I have several fellow clinicians that I can refer you to. Mental health counseling/therapy is about a healthy relationship, and when it is healthy, the counselor is like a mirror that reflects your inherent clarity and sanity.
Regarding closure, we can collaborate on an appropriate ending. It's a fortunate process to go through where pain, confusion and repression transforms into clarity, love and growth. Compassionate acceptance becomes a learned skill to resolve past, present and future challenges.

A little bit about Nathan Railla:
After graduating from Naropa University in Boulder, CO, I spent over 7 years serving the Colorado community, especially men, teens and their families. I specialized in contemplative therapy, using meditation to cultivate awareness that leads to clarity. I also was trained in and practiced restorative justice, specifically utilizing it with teenagers to learn to be accountable for harm caused to the community. Many families worked with me to resolve their challenges that included addiction, anger management, relationship challenges, infidelity, depression, anxiety, and many other challenges.

After 15 years of experience in both Colorado & Vermont, I am committed to supporting Colorado residents online. It's an honor to assist you on your journey towards wellness.
